Dear Clients,

As always, your health and well-being, and that of your pet, are of utmost priority to us. We continue to monitor the news of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in and around our community.

As of now, our clinic is open and operating as usual. We continue to maintain regular business hours and appointments, but as new information is continually evolving, please continue to check our website and/or social media channels for current status of business hours and availability.

The CDC has issued a report stating that dogs, cats, and other pets have yet to contract or spread COVID-19. We do want to protect the health and safety of our staff, though. With this in mind, we will take every precaution available to keep our staff and clients healthy by limiting human-to-human transmission.

In order to protect other clients and our team, please reschedule upcoming appointments if you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, feel ill, or are concerned about your health with regards to COVID-19. Please give us a call if this is the case, and we’d be happy to find a time in the near future to see you and your pet when it’s more convenient for you.

If you are feeling unwell and your pet needs urgent care or emergency medical attention, please ask a friend, neighbor, or family member to bring your pet into our facility. We ask that you call ahead to let us know the name of your pet’s guardian, and we will happily make any necessary accommodations to provide your pet with the best care possible.

The CDC suggests that families prepare for COVID-19 by including pets in their preparations. This means you may need a 2-week supply of prescriptions, medicines, food, and other pet supplies. Please contact us if you need to order your pets’ prescriptions or any supplies that you may need for your pet. Our online store is a perfect way to help get the products you need to keep your pet healthy, and you don’t even need to leave your house – visit our store at: https://pearlandvetreferral.vetsfirstchoice.com/

The most current reports from the CDC continue to assert that contracting COVID-19 remains at a low-risk level for people. With caution in mind, we want to protect those that protect and care for your pets. These measures allow us to continue to provide your pet with optimal care while reducing the potential spread of COVID-19.
